Give Superhero access to your Google Analytics
If you have SEO or reporting services with us, we need access to your Google Analytics account to connect it to your website and read the results. You stay the owner, and you can remove our access at any time.
Do not have Google Analytics yet? Start with Google Analytics: why it matters and how to set it up.
What to add
| Email address | warreng@ecropolis.com |
| Role | Editor |
Superhero Technologies is part of Ecropolis, so our team’s Google account uses an ecropolis.com address.
Editor lets us set up tracking and build reports. It does not let us add or remove people from your account. That stays with you.
Add us to your account
Step 1: Open Admin
Sign in at analytics.google.com and make sure your business account is selected. Click Admin, the gear icon at the bottom left.
Step 2: Open access management
Under Account settings, click Account access management. If your account has more than one website in it and you only want to share one, use Property access management under Property settings instead.
Step 3: Add a user
Click the blue + button at the top right, then Add users.
Step 4: Enter our details
Enter warreng@ecropolis.com as the email address. Under Direct roles and data restrictions, choose Editor. Leave the data restriction boxes unchecked.
Step 5: Save
Click Add at the top right. That is it. Let us know you have done it, and we will take it from there.
If you cannot see the + button
Only an Administrator can add people. If the button is missing, whoever created your Analytics account needs to follow these steps, or give you the Administrator role first.
Removing our access
On the same access management screen, click the three dots next to our email address and choose Remove access.
