Instagram feed
An embed instagram feed, built into your site with no plugin and no library. A grid of an account’s recent Instagram posts, each tile a link to the post, with the handle and a Follow link above. Renders the SocialFeedHandler feed JSON (our mirrored copies of the images), read at build time. No JavaScript, no call to Instagram from the page.
Twelve posts, 3 / 4 / 6 columns, captions on hover or keyboard focus
Three columns, captions below
First light on the window counter. Doors open at 8, the kettle is already on.

Five new mugs from the studio down the road. Swipe for all of them, and the glaze that went wrong.

Good for
Restaurants, salons, makers, and anyone whose Instagram is their portfolio: the grid keeps the site as fresh as the account.
Not for
Accounts that post rarely (a stale grid dates the site), and anything that needs like or comment counts: the API does not return them reliably for the account’s visitors, and they date the moment the page is built.
Accessibility
Written so the page works for every visitor, whether they browse with a mouse, a keyboard or a screen reader, and whether or not they have asked for less motion.
- Each tile is one link wrapping the image, so its accessible name is the image’s alt, then "(video)" or "(album)" from a visually hidden word beside the decorative mark. Tabbing through the grid reads a distinct name per tile.
- An empty alt falls back to the caption’s first sentence, then to "Instagram post from <date>"; a name that would repeat gets a number. No tile is nameless.
- Hover captions also show on keyboard focus, and are aria-hidden: the text lives in the alt, never only in the overlay. Captions below are ordinary text after the link.
- Every link opens Instagram in a new tab and says so once, through aria-describedby, rather than in each name.
- The grid is a list labeled by the header line. The caption fade is instant under prefers-reduced-motion. No JavaScript.

How to ask for it
“The social-grid on our home page, with …”
Name it, say which page and which part of the page it goes on, and say what goes in it: your photos, your words, your colors. That is a complete request. We build it, you approve it, and it goes live. If you know it by another name, from WordPress or from another site, that works too.
More elements you can ask for: Before / After, Particle field, Mega menu, Video background, Parallax band, Scroll reveal, Business hours, News ticker, Flip box, Accordion / FAQ, Card slider, Tabs, Info list, Video player, Testimonial carousel, Icon library, Animated text, Cookie consent, Animated background, Modal box, Announcement bar, Image hotspots, Info circle, Slide box, Countdown, Content toggle, Off-canvas panel, Video gallery, Map and directions, Link effects, Tabcordion, Tooltip, Responsive table, Notice, Toast, Loading, Menu button, Radio group, Stepper, Tags, Scrollbox, Sticker. Or see all of them working.

Show more reviews, team members or posts than fit across the page, and let visitors swipe or click through them.
- Video player
Your video, your thumbnail, and nothing loads from YouTube until someone presses play.
- Testimonial carousel
Let what your clients say move gently across the page, without anyone losing a quote halfway through reading it.
- Icon library
Find the icon, copy its name, put it in a request — it arrives as one crisp inline SVG, not a 300 KB font.
