Questions, answered
What counts as a request?
One clearly defined website change that can normally be completed in about 30 minutes or less on our platform — adding a page, updating pricing, adding a team member, publishing content you supply, swapping photos, adding an FAQ. If something is bigger than that, we will tell you before we start.
Does adding pages raise my monthly price?
No. Hosting has no page limit on any plan. Your plan's page count is how many pages we design and build before launch, and each extra page at launch is $50. Once your site is live, adding a page is one request, and it costs nothing more to host after that.
Can I roll over unused requests?
Unused requests roll over for one month, then expire. So on Professional you could start a month with up to 6 requests — but credits do not accumulate indefinitely.
Do I have to subscribe monthly?
Not on Starter. $299 builds, launches and hosts your website for a year with no ongoing commitment. Superhero Care at $19/month is optional and adds a monthly request plus managed updates. Professional and Growth include the monthly plan, because the service relationship is the point.
What happens after the first year?
If you are on any monthly plan, hosting stays included — there is no renewal invoice. Starter customers without Care can either add Care at $19/month, which includes hosting, or move to managed hosting at $99/year.
How fast will my requests be completed?
Most standard requests are turned around within a couple of business days. Professional and Growth get priority, moving your requests to the front of the queue.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Monthly plans can be canceled at any time, and you keep full ownership of your website.
What if I need something bigger than a request?
Complex features, custom development and deep integrations are quoted separately by Superhero Labs, our custom development team at Ecropolis. That keeps standard requests fast and predictable for everyone.
What these plans don't cover
These are fast, professionally built marketing websites. A few things genuinely sit outside that, and we'd rather say so here than after you've paid.
- Sell products online — a shop with a cart and checkoutA real store needs a store platform. We'll point you at Shopify, or quote it through Ecropolis if it should be custom.
- Customer logins, a members area, or gated contentThat is application work rather than a website. Ecropolis quotes it properly rather than us squeezing it into a plan.
- WordPress specifically — you need particular pluginsWe build on Astro, which is what makes these sites fast with no plugin upkeep. If you genuinely need WordPress, Ecropolis handles it.
- A custom web app, portal, or other software built for youA quoted project with Superhero Labs, our custom development team at Ecropolis — scoped properly rather than squeezed into a monthly plan.
Everything else — booking, taking a payment for a service, newsletters, a blog — we do, usually by connecting a tool you already use.
